Compassion Ministries

Once a year we organize one Compassion Day, where we unite, as a church body, to show the love of Christ in practical ways with no strings attached. We serve a God who is lovingly interested in the world; He desires to bring peace where there is conflict, love where there is hatred, and connection where there is isolation.

This year, during the month of March, we will be serving our community together in order to move us one step closer to the dream God has for the world.  This day is a time of outreach for all of our people where we group into project teams of all sizes and demonstrate the love of Christ by serving people in need in both our local community and into the inner city of Pittsburgh.

Right now, we are in the planning stages for this year's Compassion Day, and our biggest need is for project leaders!  Stepping into a project leader role is a great way to put your faith in action and to allow God to grow you in exciting and unexpected ways as he uses you and your project team to advance His purposes in the World.  You might also find that you are personally transformed in the process as well!
