God is not just drawing individuals into relationship with Himself; He is also on a mission to restore the world to the way He originally intended it.
At New Community Church it is our desire to extend God’s new creation within our community and throughout the world so that God is glorified and the Great Commission is fulfilled. This is accomplished by reshaping the world, working within areas of influence, as well as building local, regional, and global partnerships.
The Missions Ministry is comprised of three primary initiatives:
- Global initiatives support partnerships with organizations that plant churches throughout the international 10-40 window with a focus of spreading the Gospel within the top four unreached populations in the world. For example, see Pioneers Africa.
- Cross cultural initiatives are partnerships with organizations that have cultural differences from typical NCC members. Through partnering together, learning and growth can occur through relationships as serving is done together. For example, see Pine Valley Bible Camp, Imani Christian Academy, and Urban Impact.
- Local initiatives through servant evangelism focus on putting faith into action in our community through serving others with no strings attached. See Compassion Day activities.
God uses missions to transform people while laboring together to expand God’s new creation as far away as Thailand, and as close to home as our offices, neighborhoods and families.
