As Needed

Repurposed

Living & loving like Jesus requires that we serve those that he loves-the lost, the poor, & the exploited. Repurposed thrift store does just that. The store supports the Christian organization Living in Liberty which rescues women from sex trafficking in the Pittsburgh area. Repurposed depends on volunteers to sort donations & to organize items on the store shelves so that they can keep their operational costs down.  This way the majority of their profits can go directly to helping rescued women.

Women from NCC are currently serving on the 2nd Monday of each month at Repurposed.  We serve from 10am-12 pm. Men & teens (accompanied by adults) are also able to serve.

If you’d like to check out Repurposed/Living in Liberty, click on the link below.  The store is located on McKnight Road by Ross Park Mall.

Urban Impact Foundation

Urban Impact is really seeking volunteers for our Performing Arts Academy this fall. We have a great need for dance teachers, food servers, and Children’s Choir volunteers. Is there a way we can leverage NCC Goes to put the word out? Or maybe even put it in the “What’s Happening” email? I’m also open to any other suggestions you have about how to best communicate the need!
