Adulting: Spiritual Disciplines

Young adulthood comes with a lot of new responsibilities, decisions, and questions. Our Adulting Series is designed to help young adults grow in wisdom and confidence as they navigate everyday life with Christ at the center.

Proverbs 13:20 reminds us, “Walk with the wise and become wise.” Throughout this series, experienced members of our church family share practical wisdom and life experience to help guide young adults in key areas of life.

In this session, Rebecca Harper will lead a conversation on Spiritual Disciplines and how they shape the way we live and use our time. Scripture reminds us that time is a gift from God, and we are called to steward it well.

Together we’ll explore the basics of time management while also considering how chronos time (our everyday, measured time) and kairos time (God’s appointed moments) intersect in our lives. We’ll also look at a few foundational spiritual disciplines that can help us grow in our relationship with God and become more attentive to His work in our daily lives.
