On Fishing Sunday, our Kids’ Kingdom kids (preschool–5th grade) head outside for a hands-on morning of fishing together. Through the fun—and sometimes challenge—of casting, waiting, and reeling in a catch, kids get a simple, memorable picture of what it means when Jesus calls us to be “fishers of men.”

It’s a great opportunity for kids to enjoy God’s creation, try something new, and learn through experience alongside their friends and leaders. Since we’ll be outside and near the water, we recommend dressing kids in play clothes that can get a little muddy, along with sneakers or closed-toe shoes.

We also welcome other adults in our church family to serve alongside us. If you enjoy being outdoors and spending time with kids, this is a fun and meaningful way to get involved.
