Receiving communion is an important milestone in a child’s faith journey, and we want to help families thoughtfully prepare for that step together.

Parents and children in 2nd grade or older who may be ready to begin participating in communion are invited to attend our Communion Preparation Class led by Senior Pastor Adam Jackley. Parents and children will attend the class together as they learn more about the meaning of communion and what it means to participate.

Not sure if your child is ready yet? You’re still encouraged to attend. The class is designed to help parents and children better understand communion and give families the tools they need to decide together when the time is right.

Children who complete the class and choose to participate in communion will be acknowledged and prayed over by the congregation before participating in Communion Services on October 4.
