King David, a man after God’s own heart, was almost overlooked by his family and by the prophet Samuel because he was small and young. But God saw David and judged him by his heart. This Sunday’s sermon will remind us that, contrary to what the world tells us, our outward appearance is not important. What is in our hearts is seen by God and matters most.
