You might say that the Holy Spirit is main character in the book of Acts. Jesus promised that after He ascended to heaven, He would send the Spirit to indwell and empower His followers. That happened in chapter 2. From then on we see the Spirit making new Christians and mobilizing existing followers of Jesus.
